Leopards Leap Culinaria Chenin Blanc
Grapes used for the production of this Loire-style wine originate from the Voor-Paardeberg area, well-known for growing excellent quality Chenin Blanc. A well-defined ripe fruit character with aromas of tropical fruit and yellow peach are balanced with refreshing white fruit such as pear. A hint of sweet spice charms the nose while a vibrant acidity and elegant nuances of oak contribute structure and complexity. A remarkably versatile partner to food.
Hartenberg Doorkeeper Unwooded Chardonnay
An expression of what Hartenberg Estate is able to do with Chardonnay in a younger, modern and upfront wine style, fermented in stainless-steel, sans wood. The Chardonnay fruit includes younger parcels of the grape which are wonderfully expressive and offer earlier accessibility. With an enticing bouquet of ripe fig, juicy pear, and vibrant Cape gooseberry, the wine is layered with delicate hints of elderflower and a subtle chalky minerality. On the palate, flavours of brisk tea leaves and zesty lemon intertwine harmoniously with succulent peach.
Buitenverwachting Constantia Sauvignon Blanc
From Constantia, the first area to bring us wine from the Cape we give you Sauvignon blanc. The wine has a pale lemon yellow colour and a bouquet reminiscent of green figs with hints of gooseberries and an intrusion of green peppers. The wine is dry, full bodied and has a long lingering finish.
