Sugarbird is proud to be joining the production of rum and its attendant wealth of creativity and innovation. We are already competing on the International stage, where it seems that there is a great future for South African Rum.
The latest edition to the Sugarbird stable is a beautiful 4 year aged, Jamaican-style, dark rum. Triple distilled from blackstrap molasses and aged in bourbon casks, it is full of rich, complex pot still flavour. But, of course, our rum is naturally infused with protea nectar.
