A night garden of reveals. Dark roses, violets, hedgerow; an undercurrent of resin and tobacco leaf. The scented aromatics are lively and complex. Cool blue fruit on entry glides into silky damson to a modern, juicy core. A fine-boned structure captures both the stony acidity of the Breedekloof, and the robust red-fruit of the Swartland, the tannins are correspondingly layered and light. Red and black cherries layer in on the finish, tailed in hints of smoke and spice.
