Glenfarclas 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 750ml
Located in the heart of Speyside since 1836, Glenfarclas, from the Gaelic 'Glen of the Green Grassland', has been owned and managed by just one family, The Grants of Glenfarclas, for 6 generations. Pure spring water, malted barley and yeast is all that goes into Glenfarclas. Distilled twice in traditional direct fired copper pot stills, the largest in Speyside, this whisky is made to age. Matured on- site in traditional dunnage warehouses using 100% Spanish sherry casks. Only the finest European oak casks are selected from a particular family run Bodega in Spain previously used for the maturation of fine Oloroso sherry.
Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is an excellent introduction to the distillery style - for those who enjoy a sherried whisky.
Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Vibrant amber- gold.
- Nose: Fresh and beautifully light, sherried fruit combined with a tempting spicy sweetness and a hint of sappy oak.
- Palate: Full bodied with a delightful sherried fruit, oak and delicious sweet sensations.
- Finish: Long and flavoursome, with a lingering spiciness.
Non- Chill Filtered. Natural Colour.
