The Campbeltown Malts Festival is a celebration of the region's rich
whisky-making legacy. Every year in May, those few distilleries that have
endured step away from their stills to fully open their doors to the local
community and visitors from afar. For the workers of Glen Scotia, it is
their favourite and most anticipated moment of the year - a time for old
friends and making new ones, and raising a dram together to the Victorian
Whisky Capital. GLEN SCOTIA - IT'S THE WHISKY THAT BINDS US.
Glen Scotia was born in a place like no other - the smallest whisky
region on the west coast of Scotland that was to become the Victorian
Whisky Capital of the World. Our whisky has a wonderful way of
bringing people together, and that unique community spirit has
ensured Glen Scotia prevailed where some thirty other local`
distilleries fell. Today, it stands proudly among the last of the many.
