Foothills Syrah 750ml

Very easy to like, yet there is complexity, underlying layers and structure: maraschino cherry intensity and plum compote, with tobacco leaf savouriness and a fain hint of scrub. Ticks all the boxes, plush ripeness, succulent and ultra-smooth. The oak is well chosen, 14 months older barrels designed to add flavour and gentle grip, but essentially to fit in seamlessly, never intrude.
