Foothills Monogram Semillon 750ml

Melon and ginger, an earthy nuance, just 13% alcohol but feels richer, fuller than that. The 12 months oaking is from older barrels, 4 years +, which gives a gentle savoury overlay, a honeyed nutty richness but minimal tannin structure. A wine with personality, with lovely creaminess to the texture. Lots of flavour and a very long finish. A limited release in the top tier, just 100 cases.
