Marble Epoxy Mixing & Application Guide
1. Combine Base Components
In a mixing bucket, blend:
- Part A (Resin)
- Part C (Silica Flour)
- Part D (Liquid Pigment)
Mix until smooth and lump-free-no timer needed.
2. Prepare for Application
- Wear gloves, goggles, dust mask, and spike shoes.
- Ensure the floor is clean, dry, smooth and level.
3.Activate the Epoxy
- Add Part B (Hardener) to the pre-mixed base.
- Mix for 4 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom.
- Avoid aggressive mixing to reduce bubbles.
4.Apply Base Coat
- Pour epoxy in puddles onto the floor.
- Roll and cross-roll for even, self-leveling coverage.
- Do not scrape out the bucket-let it drain upside down.
Coverage: ~10square meters per kit (marble finish requires extra thickness).
5. Apply Marble Highlights
- In a clean container, mix:
- 375g of Part A & B
- 25g Metallic Pigment
- Mix for 4 minutes. Pour over the base in creative patterns, then gently blend using the roller for marble-like effects.
Cure Times:
- Light Foot Traffic: 24 hrs
- Full Use: 48-72 hrs (temperature-dependent)
