Brooklyn Gin is handcrafted one small batch at a time, using traditional artisan spirit-making methods, and without compromises. It begins with selecting and preparing the finest natural ingredients for a carefully honed recipe. Hand-cracked juniper berries and fresh hand-cut citrus peels are used to release essential oils and bring out the true essence and complexity of the ingredients. The time and effort that goes into crafting Brooklyn Gin results in a superbly smooth gin that is fresh, complex, and flavourful with a long clean sublime finish.
Brooklyn Gin is inspired by the do-it-yourself mentality and creative spirit in Brooklyn. This comes along with appreciation for fresh ingredients, traditional methods, and craftsmanship, which are the most important qualities of Brooklyn Gin. Brooklyn Gin is crafted with a hand-operated small Christian Carl copper pot still and the herbs and botanicals are steeped in the neutral spirit before all ingredients are distilled. Each batch is chill-filtered and then tasted before bottling. Brooklyn Gin bottles are filled, corked, and labelled by hand.
Tasting Notes: -Crips and fresh with the aromas of the citrus used coming through strongly. This is complimented by a herbal juniper flavour. Ends of in a smooth, long in length, and distinguished by a slight floral note.
Brooklyn Gin has been awarded with Gold at various Spirits competitions including 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, 2015 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, and others.
