Boschendal (Dutch for bush and dale) is one of the oldest Wine Estates in South Africa and is located between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch in South Africa's Western Cape.This Iconic wine farm is nestled in one of the most picturesque valleys in the Cape Winelands.
Colour: Intense deep ruby red colour
On the nose: Blueberry, red cherry and plum with hint of spice from
oaking. Rich red cherry, blueberry and plum notes with a hint of dark

Palate: Palate- Rich red cherry and plum notes. Elegant cool climate style,
good fruit intensity and length. Rich red cherry plum and pronounced ripe

fruit and length. Good natural balance between primary fruit aromas,
colour and structure extraction, rounded and integrated by subtle oak
aging from 300-litre barrels.
Ageing potential: The multi-layered complexity of this wine will develop
over the following three to seven years.
