Just 1/8? (0.7cm ) thick, our Compact Cushion yoga mat rolls up nice and tight for maximum portability, but still provides you necessary cushion and grip. Thicker, more padded mats tend to offer more padding, but provide less balance as your hands sink deeper into the foam. They're also substantially heavier and take up a lot of space, even when rolled up. If you're a yogi who needs to feel the floor to shore up difficult balances like the crow pose, or if you're looking for an extra portable, space-saving mat, this one's for you.
