The Wurkkos TS23 5000 Lumen 482m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight with 21700 Battery is a high-performance, versatile light designed for everyday carry and outdoor use, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency situations. For example, its 5000-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 482 meters, ensuring reliable visibility with a dual-beam profile combining spotlight and floodlight. With built-in USB-C charging, a tail e-switch interface, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Wurkkos TS23 for Outdoor Use suits EDC users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Wurkkos TS23 features a Cree XHP70.3 HI LED with a 6000-6500K color temperature, delivering a maximum output of 5000 lumens with a beam throw of 482 meters, powered by an included 21700 Li-ion battery (5000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a tail e-switch with dual UI modes (Stepped and Tactical), with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:
Turbo: 5000 lumens for approximately 1 minute (steps down after initial output)
High: 1000 lumens for approximately 2 hours
Medium: 200 lumens for approximately 10 hours
Low: 10 lumens for approximately 280 hours
Moonlight: 1 lumen for approximately 35 days
Strobe: 5000 lumens (runtime not specified)
SOS: 5000 lumens (runtime not specified)
Beacon: 5000 lumens (runtime not specified)
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port with a press-in cover, taking about 3.5 hours with a 5V charger, and includes an indicating e-switch (color and pattern not fully specified but active during charging) that may show battery status. It has an IP68 waterproof rating, suitable for submersion up to 2 meters, and features a boost driver with Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) that reduces brightness when the driver temperature reaches 60 C to prevent overheating, though prolonged use on Turbo may generate heat, requiring careful handling.
Durable and Compact Design
The Wurkkos TS23 is constructed from aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized finish, offering durability and corrosion resistance for outdoor conditions like camping or hiking. It measures 138mm in length with a head diameter of 41mm, weighing 173g without the battery (approximately 213g with the included 21700 battery), making it suitable for pocket or gear carry. The flashlight features a tail e-switch, a two-way pocket clip, and a bead-blasted stainless steel bezel, though the clip attachment may limit tailstanding stability.
Designed for Outdoor and Everyday Use
The Wurkkos TS23 5000 Lumen 482m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for EDC users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable, pocket-sized light for daily carry, emergencies, or outdoor activities. For example, its 280-hour low mode ensures extended runtime for prolonged use, while the dual UI modes (Stepped for general use, Tactical for quick access) provide flexibility, though the tail e-switch UI requires practice to navigate modes (click for on/off, hold to adjust, double-click for Strobe), and some users report a dramatic initial step-down. The USB-C charging and IP68 rating enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to maintain performance. The TS23's affordable price, included 21700 battery, and high output make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for heat management and UI familiarity.

Note: Ensure the flashlight is turned off or locked (four quick clicks to activate lockout mode) after use to prevent accidental activation, which could drain the battery; the tail e-switch can be sensitive. Use the included 21700 battery with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head), and remove the insulating film before first use or charging. The IP68 rating supports submersion up to 2 meters but is not suitable for diving; avoid prolonged submersion beyond this limit. Handle with care during Turbo mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability, and use a 5V charger (not included) for optimal charging. Unscrew the tailcap half a turn during storage to prevent self-discharge.
