The automatic pliers are used for stripping all standard solar cables, e.g. H1Z2Z2-K from 1.5 to 10 mm . An adjustable length stop from 5 to 25 mm enables very precise and accurate work. The blades of the No. 5 Solar Pro wire stripper have also been hardened so that multi-layer rubberized insulation can be removed easily. The length stop can also be removed if required. The pliers automatically adjust to the respective conductor cross-section - so no manual adjustment is required. A side cutter has been integrated into the pliers, which is suitable for copper and aluminum conductors up to a diameter of three millimeters. Thanks to the slim design of the tool, the pliers can also be used in hard-to-reach work areas, such as on solar modules or inverters. The mechanics of the pliers are very smooth-running and have proven to be durable and reliable in tests. The pliers have a non-slip multi-component handle in a yellow and black "ice-crack" design. The wire stripper has an eyelet to which a strap can be attached to prevent it from falling and has been equipped with a marking area to allow the tool to be personalized. The pliers can also be locked in place, allowing them to be stowed away to save space. As with all wire strippers in the No. 5 product line, the galvanized blades are interchangeable.
