About WELTEK-NURO
WELTEK-NURO is a sugar-free health supplement in hard gelatine capsule form. It's formulated with components that primarily provide support for nerve health and functions.
Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) helps maintain and regenerate the myelin sheath and the normal function of the immune system and may assist in slowing down nerve degeneration.
Alpha-lipoic acid and benfotiamine (vitamin B1 derivative) protect against oxidative damage and can assist to prevent nerve damage.
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) plays a vital role in maintaining nerve health and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Folic acid contributes to normal cell function, development, and maintenance of new cells.
Inositol supports cellular function, growth, and metabolic processes. It may also assist to improve insulin activity and glucose absorption to cells, which may help reduce diabetic complications.
What is neuropathy?
Neuropathy is a condition that affects the nerves and can change how you feel, move, and interact with the world around you.
The nervous system acts like a messaging system, carrying instructions from the brain and information back from the body. These messages allow you to feel sensations, such as touch or pain, and send instructions to the muscles about when and how to move.
When nerves are damaged, these messages don't travel properly; this is called neuropathy.
Symptoms of neuropathy
- Numbness, tingling, or burning sensations
- Sharp, jolting, or stabbing pain
- Muscle weakness or loss of co-ordination
- Extreme sensitivity to touch
Causes of neuropathy
- Diabetes
- Chronic alcohol misuse
- Vitamin deficiencies (especially B12)
