Product Description
This magnetic water flow switch is designed to automatically control pump operation by detecting water flow. Using a magnetic control mechanism, the unit switches connected equipment on and off as water flow starts or stops, providing reliable and responsive pump control in compatible water systems.
The induction chamber is magnetically controlled, with sensing components separated from the main flow path. This design reduces the risk of failure caused by iron particles or debris in the pipeline and ensures stable, long-term performance.
Manufactured from high-temperature-resistant materials, the switch is suitable for both hot water applications (up to 70 C) and cold water systems.
A high-quality stainless steel reset spring allows the unit to activate at low flow rates, making it suitable for low-pressure systems where reliable pump startup is required.
How to Use
This product must be installed by a qualified plumber and a certified electrician. Install the water flow switch on the intake (inlet) side of the pump only, ensuring the correct flow direction as indicated on the unit.
Do not install the switch on the outlet side of the pump.
Incorrect installation on the outlet side can cause back pressure, which may prevent the pump from switching off immediately because water continues flowing while the valve attempts to close. This can result in pump oscillation at shutoff, continuous operation, excessive pressure build-up, leakage, and premature failure.
The switch is designed for controlled-pressure systems only and must not be connected directly to high-pressure household mains water. Always confirm that system pressure, voltage, and current remain within the rated specifications of the product. Proper professional installation ensures safe operation, prevents leaks, and delivers reliable long-term performance.
