The adjustable sampling rate, ranging from 5kHz to 12kHz, allows users to optimise audio quality or maximise recording time. An additional playback speed adjustment also makes it possible to create entertaining "funny voice" effects by altering the playback speed.
For integration into larger electronic projects, the MK195 provides several external open-collector trigger inputs that allow recording, playback, message deletion, message selection, and volume control to be activated electronically.
