Turner Black Hole Black is a revolutionary, specialty acrylic medium formulated with microscopic carbon rods that line up vertically on the surface as the paint dries. These microscopic carbon structures trap ambient light between them rather than reflecting it back, effectively swallowing up to 99% of light. This advanced technology completely eliminates surface texture, depth perception, and reflections, creating an unparalleled, non-reflective flat matte void. The result is an essential tool for scale modellers, tabletop gaming enthusiasts, and conceptual artists who require absolute blackness for deep shadows and striking optical illusions that standard pigment-based black paints cannot replicate.
Unlike traditional water-soluble mediums, the cured acrylic resin allows for effortless layering without the risk of activating underlying paint layers. It adheres permanently to a vast range of surfaces, including paper, canvas, wood, glass, plastic, and metal, making it an essential medium for fine artists, illustrators, designers, and hobbyists alike.
