Tufting is the process of threading yarn through a base material. It's primarily used to create carpets, but its uses are limited and unimaginable. Other common uses include pillows, artwork, and clothing. Tufting has two finishing methods: cut pile and loop pile.
A tufting machine works by using mechanical needles to thread the yarn through the tufted fabric. After the yarn is threaded through, the machine either cuts the yarn or leaves it in the loops. This allows for two different finishing styles.
Our new 2024 KRT-DUO features intelligent controls on the rear of the gun, making it quieter and easier to operate thanks to low-vibration technology and a lighter weight. The intelligent control touchscreen is now the primary control on the gun, replacing the traditional on/off switch and speed/decel buttons. These functions are now located on the control panel.
This simple tufting machine is available in two models: cut pile and loop pile. Our KRT-DUO two-in-one tufting gun can perform both cut and loop pile operations and features a guard and motor cover to help prevent the yarn from getting tangled in the gears.
It's important to note that one drop of lubricant should be added every hour while the machine is in use. Put a drop of lubricant in the hole on top of the machine to help the gun operate smoothly. Also, keep a small paint brush handy to remove yarn residue from the gun.
