The Frown is a creative force of music, production and design fronted by the dynamic Eve Rakow. They took the South African music scene by storm in 2011 with their indie track ‘The National’ off their debut Ep ‘A-men’. Kleinbaas, The Frown’s composer slash producermakes up the other half of this multi-talented duo.
In demand, in fashion, social & networked, The Frown has their fingers on the pulse. Die Antwoord were so impressed they asked them to open for them at shows. Indie hit machine Spoek Mathambo collaborated with Eve and their track ‘Melodi’ had some international commercial success internationally. They have also enjoyed countless remix attention on many of their compositions by a wide range of credible music tastemakers.
