Designed with Apple MFi Certification, the TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag integrates directly with the Apple Find My app, allowing you to track your belongings without downloading any additional applications or paying any subscription fees. Simply pair the tracker with your iPhone or iPad in seconds and enjoy seamless tracking powered by one of the world's largest crowdsourced location networks.
The compact, ultra-slim design makes it perfect for attaching to keys, backpacks, handbags, luggage, wallets, camera bags, laptop bags, pet carriers and countless other everyday items. Despite its lightweight construction, the tracker is built to withstand daily life thanks to its IP67 water and dust resistant rating, making it suitable for travel, outdoor activities and everyday use.
Whether your belongings are nearby or hundreds of kilometres away, the TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag helps you locate them quickly and securely.
Smart Tracking Powered by Apple Find My:
Unlike traditional Bluetooth trackers that only work within a limited range, the TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag takes advantage of Apple's global Find My network. This network consists of hundreds of millions of Apple devices around the world that anonymously and securely help locate compatible items.
If your tracker is outside normal Bluetooth range, nearby Apple devices can securely detect its location and anonymously update its position within your Find My app. This allows you to view the item's most recent location and receive directions directly to it.
The entire process is end-to-end encrypted, meaning even Apple and the manufacturer cannot view your location or personal information.
Easily Find Nearby Items:
If your tagged item is nearby, simply open the Apple Find My app and activate the built-in speaker. The Smart Bluetooth Tag emits a loud 80-100dB alert, making it easy to locate items hidden under cushions, inside bags, between furniture, inside luggage or almost anywhere around your home or office.
The Bluetooth operating range is approximately 15 to 60 metres (50 to 200 feet), depending on surrounding obstacles and environmental conditions.
You can even ask Siri to help you locate your belongings using simple voice commands.
Locate Lost Items Anywhere:
If you accidentally leave your belongings behind while travelling or commuting, there is no need to panic.
When your Smart Bluetooth Tag moves outside Bluetooth range, Apple's Find My network continues working in the background to help locate your item. As soon as another Apple device anonymously detects the tracker, its location is securely updated in your Find My app.
The app can then provide map directions to the latest detected location, helping you recover lost luggage, backpacks, keys or other valuables.
Left Behind Notifications:
The TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag actively helps prevent you from forgetting important belongings.
If you accidentally leave an item behind, your iPhone will automatically send you a notification once the tracker moves outside Bluetooth range, allowing you to return before your belongings are truly lost.
This feature is especially useful when travelling, visiting restaurants, airports, hotels, offices, schools or public transport.
Lost Mode for Extra Security:
If you are unable to recover your item immediately, simply enable Lost Mode within the Apple Find My app.
Once activated:
- The tracker remains securely linked to your Apple ID.
- It cannot be paired with another Apple device while registered to your account.
- If someone finds your item, they can use a compatible smartphone to view your contact information (if you choose to provide it), making it easy for them to contact you and arrange its return.
- Whenever another Apple device detects your tracker, its location will automatically update within the Find My app.
Share Items with Family and Friends:
With iOS 17 and later, Apple allows you to securely share Find My accessories with other users.
The TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag can be shared with up to five additional people, allowing multiple users to monitor and locate shared belongings such as luggage, family vehicles, camera equipment, sports bags or household items.
Shared users can view the item's location within their own Find My app without triggering unwanted tracking notifications while travelling together.
Designed with Privacy in Mind:
Your privacy is always protected.
The TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag uses Apple's secure Find My network, which employs advanced encryption to ensure that your location information remains private.
The tracker does not store your location history, and neither Apple nor the manufacturer has access to your location information.
Apple's built-in anti-unwanted tracking technology also helps protect users by notifying them if an unknown Find My accessory appears to be travelling with them unexpectedly.
Replaceable Battery:
The Smart Bluetooth Tag is powered by a standard CR2032 lithium coin cell battery, allowing you to replace the battery yourself when required instead of replacing the entire device.
Battery status can be conveniently monitored within the Apple Find My app so you'll know when it's time for a replacement.
Battery NOT included.
Built for Everyday Life:
Designed for everyday reliability, the TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag features an IP67 water and dust resistant rating, providing protection against rain, accidental splashes, dust and brief immersion in water.
Whether you're travelling, hiking, cycling, commuting or simply going about your day, the Smart Bluetooth Tag is built to handle everyday environments.
Compact and Lightweight Design:
The TechByte Smart Bluetooth Tag has been designed to be discreet without compromising functionality.
With a diameter of only 36mm and a thickness of just 7.5mm, it easily attaches to your belongings without adding unnecessary bulk.
