TANGLEWOOD Metropolitan Super Folk Cutaway w/ Elec & Bag
The Metropolitan Series TM4CE guitar is a refined and versatile instrument designed for players who value comfort, clarity, and modern performance features. Built with a super folk cutaway body shape, it offers a compact and ergonomic feel that sits naturally against the player, making it ideal for extended playing sessions. The body shape delivers a focused, balanced tone with excellent articulation, particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, light strumming, and detailed melodic work. The Venetian cutaway enhances playability by providing easy access to the upper frets, encouraging expressive lead lines and more adventurous chord voicings.
At the heart of the TM4CE is a solid spruce top, chosen for its bright, responsive character and impressive dynamic range. This is paired with koa back and sides, adding warmth, smooth midrange presence, and visual elegance. The top, back, and sides are constructed using high pressure laminate (HPL), ensuring outstanding durability and resistance to changes in temperature and humidity. This makes the TM4CE a dependable companion for gigging musicians and travelling players who need consistency without sacrificing tone.
Finished in a natural satin, the guitar showcases the attractive koa grain while providing a smooth, understated feel that enhances playing comfort and reduces glare under stage lighting. The TM4CE is fitted with the Tanglewood TEQ-G3 EQ system, delivering a natural and accurate amplified sound. Its intuitive controls allow players to easily shape their tone for live performance, rehearsal, or recording.
Combining elegant aesthetics, reliable construction, and versatile electronics, the Metropolitan Series TM4CE is a guitar built to inspire confidence. Whether played acoustically or plugged in, it offers a clear, expressive voice and exceptional playability, making it an excellent choice for musicians seeking a compact yet capable electro-acoustic instrument.
