Product Overview
The TAMA HP230 Standard is a professional-grade single kick pedal that bridges the gap between entry-level hardware and high-end performance. Part of TAMA's renowned hardware lineup, the HP230 features the same Power Glide offset cam found in the legendary Iron Cobra series, providing a faster, smoother, and more powerful stroke.
Designed for drummers who demand a lightweight yet sturdy pedal, the HP230 offers exceptional control and "playability." With its sleek design and adjustable mechanics, it is an ideal choice for serious students, session drummers, and live performers who need a reliable pedal that responds to every nuance of their footwork.
Key Features
- Power Glide Cam: The offset cam design increases the speed and power of the beater as it approaches the drumhead, giving you a more effortless "punch."
- Smooth Action: Engineered for low friction and high response, ensuring that the pedal feels like an extension of your foot.
- Spring Tension Adjustment: Easily fine-tune the return speed and resistance of the pedal to match your personal playing preference.
- Beater Angle Adjustment: Customize the beater's starting position to find your perfect balance between comfort and leverage.
- Durable Construction: Built to TAMA's rigorous standards, ensuring the pedal can handle the heavy impact of daily practice and live shows.
Ideal Applications
- Upgrading Drummers: Perfect for those moving up from a basic kit-included pedal to something with more speed and customization.
- Live Gigs: A reliable, lightweight "workhorse" pedal that is easy to pack and sets up in seconds.
- Recording: The smooth, quiet action makes it suitable for studio environments where mechanical noise must be kept to a minimum.
