The new Talbot Torro Arrowspeed 299 is a versatile and balanced leisure racket for relatively little money. It has a graphite composite construction (graphite aluminum mix) and is optically one-piece held (One Piece Optic). This racket weighs only 91g unstrung or 96g covered. The medium shaft flexibility is a good compromise between control and power. The head is slightly edged. The triangular head profile makes the racket torsionally rigid and off-centered balls do not let it twist too much (=> more control on impact). The Arrowspeed 299 is covered with the multifilament Lawntex string in 0.8mm - durable and elastic. The maximum recommended tension is 8kg. Talbot-Torro was, among others, founded by the British badminton champion Derek Talbot, who, after his playing days ended, was very committed to making badminton an olympic modality.
