The Starline Twage B9 alarm system with two-way communication and automatic engine start is the flagship of the new line of the famous manufacturer of security systems. Changes made to the design of the systems affected both their functionality and security properties. Unlike the Starline A series alarms, the B9 model is equipped with an original key fob for feedback with an informative LCD display. When receiving a signal from the car, a special indicator appears on it. A warning about a break-in is accompanied by an audible alert, as well as a fluorescent display backlight.
The B9 key fobs use a new radio control code. The principle of its use is to apply an algorithm for identifying your key fob and sorting start/stop commands to different buttons. Commands are received from devices that are within the range of the reverse communication channel. The number of key fobs recorded in the system memory can be checked at any time.
To remove the alarm system in case of loss or breakage of the alarm key fobs, a personal code is used, which can consist of one, two or three digits. The code is entered using the ignition key and the Valet button. The system can be optionally equipped with digital radio relays for blocking the engine. Blocking is controlled by signals from the central alarm unit, using a radio channel.
The additional B9 key fob for feedback is made in a moisture-proof version. It is equipped with a lithium battery, which is enough to operate the device for one and a half years. The buttons are covered with a luminescent compound, which allows them to glow in the dark.
The b6 model also uses the frequency hopping method. During the transmission of commands, the built-in transceiver repeatedly reduces and expands the transmission frequency. This innovation significantly increases the safety of the car. The frequency hopping method ensures reliable operation of the alarm system in conditions of radio interference.

Automatic engine start of a car using the Starline Twage B9 alarm system is possible in four different modes:
- Remote start by command from the key fob;
- automatic start by alarm, at a set time;
- automatic start by timer, every 2, 3, 4 or 24 hours;
- automatic start by engine temperaturex, - 5, -10, -18 or 25 degrees Celsius;
x The engine temperature sensor is remote and mounted directly on the cylinder block.
