The original from South Africa: The Sonnenglas Sun Jar. Powered by the sun's energy, this innovative solar lantern is perfect for eco-friendly gifting, outdoor adventures, or adding a touch of ambience to your home and garden. The Sonnenglas Sun Jar is a stylish glass lantern that adds a special shine to any room. It features the innovative SOMO solar light, which is integrated into the lid of the lantern but can also be used independently and flexibly combined with all other products of our Sonnenglas solar system.
During the day, the built-in battery charges in sunlight and releases the stored energy at night as soft and bright light. For the winter months, the solar lantern is additionally equipped with a USB-C port, allowing it to be used even in the darker seasons.
The Sun Jar is more than just a sustainable light source - it offers diverse applications both indoors and outdoors. Inside the solar lantern, personal mementos, small plants, or other decorative items can be placed, making it a creative and stylish element for any home. On the terrace, balcony, or in the garden, it provides atmospheric lighting and creates a cozy ambiance - perfect for mild summer evenings or festive occasions.
