For example, its 3100-lumen output can illuminate a target up to 531 meters, ensuring reliable visibility. With built-in USB-C charging, a dual-switch interface, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn C8L for Outdoor Use suits tactical users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn C8L features a CREE XHP50.3 HI LED with a 6000-6500K color temperature, delivering a maximum output of 3100 lumens with a beam throw of 531 meters, powered by an included 21700 Li-ion battery (5000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a tailcap switch and side switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:
Turbo: 3100 lumens for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
High: 1300 lumens for approximately 2 hours
Medium: 500 lumens for approximately 4 hours
Low: 8 lumens for approximately 7 hours
Eco: Intensity not specified (runtime not specified)
Strobe: 3100 lumens (runtime not specified)
SOS: 3100 lumens (runtime not specified)
Beacon: 3100 lumens (runtime not specified)
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port, taking about 3 hours with a 2.5A charger, and includes a power indicator (green for good power, flashing green for 40-70%, red for 10-40%, flashing red for critical power) visible for 5 seconds after turning on. It is IPX8 waterproof (suitable for submersion up to 2 meters, not for diving), and features Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology, stepping down brightness to prevent overheating, though prolonged use on Turbo may generate heat, requiring careful handling.
Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn C8L is constructed from aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized finish, offering durability and corrosion resistance for rugged outdoor conditions like camping or search operations. It measures 156mm in length with a head diameter of 46.5mm, weighing 151g without the battery (approximately 201g with the included 21700 battery), making it suitable for pocket or holster carry. The flashlight features a tailcap switch with guards for tailstanding, a side switch, and a smooth sculpted body for a secure grip, though the tailstanding stability may vary with a lanyard attached.
Designed for Outdoor and Tactical Use
The Sofirn C8L 3100 Lumen 531m Throw Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for tactical users, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable light for emergencies, searches, or nighttime activities. For example, its 531m throw is ideal for long-distance illumination during hunts, while the 7-hour low mode ensures extended use for prolonged tasks, though the dual-switch UI requires practice to toggle between normal and tactical modes (tail switch for on/off, side switch for mode cycling), and the USB-C port should be protected from water ingress during submersion. The robust construction and IPX8 rating enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to maintain performance. The C8L's affordable price, included 21700 battery, and tactical design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for heat management and UI familiarity.

Note: Ensure the flashlight is turned off or locked (hold the side switch and click the tail switch from off) after use to prevent accidental activation, which could drain the battery; the dual switches can be sensitive. Use the included 21700 battery with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head), and remove the insulating disc before first use or charging. The IPX8 rating supports submersion up to 2 meters but is not designed for diving; avoid prolonged submersion or water ingress via the charging port. Handle with care during Turbo mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability, and use a 2.5A charger (not included) for optimal charging.
