ABOUT THE PRODUCT
The Seagate Storage Expansion Card is a proprietary flash storage card designed exclusively for Xbox Series X|S, adding capacity directly to the console's dedicated storage expansion slot rather than connecting via a standard external port. It is compatible with Xbox Velocity Architecture, and Seagate states it achieves the same performance level as the console's internal SSD for games optimised for Xbox Series X. It solves the problem of limited internal console storage for buyers with growing game libraries. The card supports quick resume, letting users switch between multiple titles in seconds whether stored internally or on the card. Practical use cases include expanding onboard storage for a console with a full internal drive, and moving the card between two Xbox Series X|S consoles, such as a home console and a friend's.
