The Sanwei DZ (Dizzy) is a specialised long pimple (pips-out) rubber primarily utilised by defensive and all-round players who rely on variation and disruption. It features a unique, tenacious pimple structure that creates an unpredictable trajectory and a strong anti-spin effect, effectively reversing or neutralising the opponent's topspin to produce an erratic "dizzy" arc. Most commonly sold as a Topsheet OX (no sponge), the DZ is noted for providing superior control and is surprisingly effective for attacking with the pips, making it a versatile tool for disrupting the opponent's rhythm close to the table or chopping from a distance.
