Calcium D-Glucarate is the calcium salt of D-glucaric acid, a natural compound found in fruits and vegetables like oranges, apples, and broccoli.
It supports liver detoxification, hormone balance (particularly oestrogen), and the removal of environmental toxins such as mercury, nicotine, paracetamol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories and other medication residues. By inhibiting the enzyme -glucuronidase, it helps prevent the reabsorption of toxins.
Preliminary studies indicate that it may aid in reducing the risk of hormone-dependent cancers such as breast, prostate and colon by removing excess levels of hormones such as oestrogen and testosterone.
As it lowers excess estrogen levels, it can be of benefit in the management of estrogen dominance symptoms like PMS, painful breasts, and difficult periods.
