Rolfes Sealing Wax was used to formally ensure that the contents of a document or an envelope were secure. It is now used both for official and for decorative purposes. Rolfes offers a variety of sealing waxes with and without a wick. Traditional sealing wax is best for ceremonial and decorative purposes such as artwork, certificates, contracts, bottling, personally delivered notes and calling cards-or for documents and packages that require proof of tampering. Glue Gun sealing wax or Faux sealing wax, a pigmented hot melt glue product, is best for use with a glue gun on correspondence that goes through the worlds postal systems or for mass mailing of any mail when you need to do a lot of sealing in a little time – wedding invitations, thank you notes etc.
