- Tools needed: You will typically need a P5 Pentalobe screwdriver for the outer case and a T5 Torx for the internal battery screws. Many replacement kits include these for free.
- Safety first: Ensure the laptop is powered off and unplugged before opening
- Calibration: After installing, it is recommended to charge the new battery to 100%, continue charging for two more hours, and then let it drain to 5-10% before recharging fully again.
