Easily Track Items If you leave items in remote locations-such as outdoors-you can easily track and locate them using the Smart Tag. It connects to the global "Find My" network, which spans billions of iOS devices; when within range of an Apple device, it can guide you to the item or update its current location. These devices transmit the tracker's location data to iCloud, allowing you to view it on the map within the "Find My" app. You can also quickly locate the item by using the "Play Sound" feature while within Bluetooth range (audio range: 10-20 meters indoors; 20-50 meters outdoors) (iOS only; not compatible with Android).
Separation Alerts & Lost Mode If you leave an item equipped with the Bluetooth tracker behind-causing it to disconnect from your Bluetooth-enabled iOS device-the app will immediately notify you that the item has been left behind. Whether you accidentally drop your wallet or leave your keys at the office, the tracker will promptly alert you to retrieve your belongings (iOS only; Android not currently supported).
Lost Mode The Bluetooth tracker can also be set to "Lost Mode." You will automatically receive a notification when another device in the "Find My" network detects it. If someone else finds your item, they can view the contact information (such as phone number or email address) you configured for Lost Mode by following these steps: open the "Find My" app on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, select the "Items" tab, tap "Identify Found Item," and select the tracker.
