The Beef Plait. More Chew. More Satisfaction. More of Everything.
Meet Pets Elite Beef Plait Bulk Pack - three strands of real beef neck sinew, plaited into a firm, dense, multi-layered chew roughly 180 mm long and 25 mm wide. Sinew is the tough, collagen-rich connective tissue that attaches muscle to bone - thick, hard, and built for serious chewing - naturally carrying the glucosamine, chondroitin, collagen and elastin dogs' joints love. Each plait keeps even dedicated chewers genuinely occupied, and the generous bulk pack - averaging roughly 200 g, natural weight variation applies - keeps the supply coming.
If your dog already loves our Beef Flats, this is that same extraordinary ingredient taken further: the plaiting creates more chewing depth, more surface area, more texture variation, and more sustained engagement per piece. And if you're new to sinew - welcome to one of the most satisfying natural chews an active dog can meet.
This is the Pets Elite Ancestral Lifestyle in its most honest, BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) aligned form - real food, honestly prepared, doing exactly what a great natural chew should.
What Makes Beef Neck Sinew Special?
Sinew - beef tendon, as most of the world knows it - is the connective tissue that attaches muscle to bone: one of the most naturally collagen-rich, structurally dense parts of the animal. Beef neck sinew in particular is exceptionally fibrous and tough, naturally loaded with collagen, elastin, glucosamine, and chondroitin - the key structural compounds that support joint flexibility, comfortable movement, connective tissue health, skin elasticity, coat condition, and strong muscles.
The plaiting takes this already extraordinary ingredient and multiplies its chewing benefit - three strands woven together create a denser, more complex structure that gives dogs substantially more to work on than a single flat piece. More layers. More resistance. More satisfaction. More enrichment time per piece.
Many mass-produced chews lean on harsh chemical processing - Pets Elite does the opposite. No harsh chemical treatments. No artificial flavourants. No artificial colourants. Just real beef neck sinew and vinegar, prepared cleanly, gently, and honestly. What you read on the label is genuinely all there is.
Why the Plait Format Works So Well
A single flat piece of sinew delivers great chewing benefit. A plaited piece delivers more. Three strands braided into a plait create a denser cross-section, more texture variation across the surface, and a more complex chewing structure that engages dogs both physically and mentally throughout every session.
At roughly 180 mm long and 25 mm wide, each plait is a proper, substantial piece - large enough to deliver a genuinely extended chewing session, and best matched to dogs that genuinely love to work a chew. Lighter chewers should start with supervision - and if your dog prefers a gentler treat, our softer options (Chewyness 1-2) will suit them better. The broad plaited surface creates excellent tooth-to-chew contact - helping maintain healthy teeth and gums through natural chewing action, across a wide area with every satisfying bite.
Chewyness Rating: 3-4/5 - Medium Hard to Hard
Our Chewyness Scale: 1 = Very Soft | 2 = Soft | 3 = Medium Hard | 4 = Hard | 5 = Very Hard

Ingredients
Beef, Vinegar.
Real beef neck sinew and a splash of vinegar as part of the traditional preparation - one honest ingredient, honestly labelled.
Size & Natural Variation
Each bulk pack averages roughly 200 g - natural weight variation applies as this is a real, naturally prepared product. Each plait is roughly 180 mm long and 25 mm wide. Natural variation in piece count, size, colour, thickness, and texture applies from piece to piece - that's the honest reality of a real, whole-animal product. What varies is the natural character of each piece, never the quality.
Suitable For

Feeding & Safety Tips
Your dog's wellbeing comes first: use our Chewyness Scale to match the chew to your dog, and supervise the whole first session with any new treat. Always supervise chewing and keep fresh water available at all times. Remove the chew if it becomes small enough to swallow whole. Natural variation in size, colour, and texture is expected - that's what real looks like. Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Feed as a complementary treat only. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake.
