Pull out the pin. An immediate, loud alarm of at least 130 decibels will sound. Reinsert the pin to stop the alarm and use it again. The pin is not easily pulled out. The alarm is clearly audible even from a distance. A bright LED light can be used to illuminate dark hallways or locate keyholes.
