An indigenous herbal treasure from the Southwestern Cape, grown near Langkloof, Tsitsikamma, and the Kareedouw Mountains. Honeybush has long been valued for its soothing qualities and naturally sweet character, deeply rooted in South African tradition and landscape.

In this special green version, the fermentation process is cut short, allowing the herb to retain more of its grassy freshness. The result is a lighter cup that combines natural honey and woody notes with a refreshing touch of citrus and tangy berry flavour.

Green honeybush offers a unique taste experience that is both calming and lively. Its balance of smooth sweetness, grassy vibrance, and subtle fruitiness makes it a versatile and memorable cup to enjoy at any time of day.

Serving suggestion:

We recommend brewing honeybush tea with water at around 100 degrees Celsius. Steep the herbs for approximately 3 minutes, then taste to see if the strength suits your preference. If you desire a stronger brew, you may steep it for another minute or two. Use a teapot with an infuser for best results. If a teapot is not available, an infuser ball, infuser cup, or a fine mesh strainer will also work well. For each serving, use about 3 to 4 grams of herbs, or roughly one teaspoon. This infusion may be steeped a second time; simply extend the brewing time to draw out the remaining flavour.
