Checkersxx, also known as xxDraughtsxx, is a two-player strategy board game. Here's a quick summary:
Objective: The goal is to capture all of your opponent's pieces or block them so they cannot make a move.
Setup: The game is played on an 8x8 board with 64 squares of alternating colors. Each player starts with 12 pieces placed on the dark squares of the three rows closest to them.
Play: Players take turns moving one piece at a time. Pieces can only move diagonally forward to an adjacent empty square.
Capturing: If an opponent's piece is adjacent and there is an empty square directly beyond it, the player's piece can jump over and capture the opponent's piece. Multiple captures can be made in a single turn if possible.
xxKing: xx When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it is crowned as a "king" and gains the ability to move both forward and backward.
Winning: The game ends when one player captures all of the opponent's pieces or blocks them from making any moves.
