LOCTITE 222 is a low-strength threadlocker that allows screws, including countersunk head screws and set screws, to be adjusted. Excellent for low-strength metals that may fracture during disassembly, such as aluminum or brass. The product is compatible with all metals, including passive substrates like stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces. It has been shown to be resistant to mild contamination from industrial lubricants such as motor oils, corrosion prevention oils, and cutting fluids.
