Our Extra Pure Marseille soap is made in Marseille using the traditional cauldron-cooking process.
It is 100% natural, made exclusively from vegetable oils, and contains no colorants, fragrances, or preservatives. The color of the soap may vary from white to dark beige depending on the production batch due to the vegetable oils used from one cauldron to the next. This gives our soaps the authenticity of a product made from natural ingredients and in no way affects the quality of the finished product.
Marseille soap is an ecological product. Gentle on the skin, its hypoallergenic formula is very popular with allergic, sensitive, or irritated skin and is suitable for the whole family! Used for personal hygiene or as a cleaning product, for laundry or household use, Marseille soap is an effective, traditional product that is very economical and has a long shelf life. Our Marseille soap is a 100% natural product certified COSMOS NATURAL by ECOCERT Greenlife according to the COSMOS standard. Here, it is packaged in a cardboard box from responsible sources (FSC certified).

La Corvette - Savonnerie du Midi Marseille soaps contain a minimal amount of glycerin. This comes from the natural saponification process; it is not added to the soap. This glycerin is removed during the washing steps of the Marseille process. However, a small trace of it remains in the finished product, and regulations require us to indicate it on our ingredient lists.
