"So often, that first flutter of inspiration for a new dish comes from the vessel. Even when I've made a dish a hundred times, plating it on a new surface can change the way I see that dish, often resulting in something completely new. I love contrasts. Sweet and savoury, heavy and light as a feather, light and dark contrasts are bold, confident and sexy, which is perfectly captured in this new BlancNoir range." - Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen
