STEP 1: GLUING PLATES ONTO THE MIRROR USING EPOXY RESIN
Prepare The Plates - Clean The Back Of The Mirror Plates And The Area On The Mirror Where They Will Be Attached. Ensure Both Surfaces Are Dry And Free From Dust Or Grease.
Mix The Pattex Epoxy Resin - Follow The Epoxy Resin Instructions Carefully To Mix The Two Components. Use An Appropriate Amount To Avoid Overflow.
Apply The Resin - Spread A Liberal Amount Of Epoxy Resin On The Back Of Each Mirror Plate.
Position The Plates - Press The Plates Firmly Onto The Back Of The Mirror, Ensuring They Are Aligned Evenly.
Allow 24 Hours For The Epoxy To Dry - Let The Epoxy Resin Cure Fully For 24 Hours Before Handling The Mirror Or Proceeding With The Installation.
STEP 2: MOUNTING THE MIRROR ONTO THE WALL
Mark The Positions On The Wall - After The Resin Has Set, Measure The Distance Between The Glued Plates On The Mirror. Transfer These Measurements To The Wall And Mark The Spots Where The Screws Will Go.
Drill The Holes And Install The Screws - Drill Holes At The Marked Positions And Insert The Raw Plugs For Secure Fitting. Then, Partially Screw In The Screws, Leaving A Small Gap Between The Wall And The Screw Heads To Allow The Plates To Slot Over Them.
Mount The Mirror Onto The Screws - Align The Glued Plates On The Mirror With The Screws On The Wall, Then Carefully Slot The Plates Onto The Screws. Ensure They Lock Securely In Place.
Check Stability - Once Mounted, Ensure The Mirror Is Securely Fastened And Sits Evenly On The Screws.
Always Use Two Plates For Mirrors Over 50 Cm In Width Or Height To Provide The Necessary Support.
Use (6 X 60 Mm) Countersunk Nails In Nylon Anchors (Raw Plugs)
