A handcrafted statement ring, set with a 12 x 10 mm oval ruby cabochon. It is a beautiful deep pink hue that changes quite dramatically in hue depending on the light - as shown in the photographs. The ruby is natural earth-mined and then jeweller treated. The design of the ring is broadband at the shoulders, the polished sterling silver of the frame holding the ruby, continuing into the shoulders. The ring head is 17 x 12 mm. The shank measures 10 mm at the shoulders, narrowing to 3 mm at the back. The ring weighs 6,7 grams, is a ring size 6 (M in British and SA sizing) and is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver.
