Go (Weiqi) Traditional Game

Go or Weiqi is an abstract strategy board game for two players in which the aim is to surround more territory than the opponent. Originating 4,000 years ago, Go is one of the most complex games in the world. It is said there have never been two identical games of Go, but despite this, Go is surprisingly easy to learn. This complete set includes a reversible two in one Chinese bamboo board with engraved lines – a game of Go on the 19x19 side or a game of Chinese chess on the other side. Pristine bowls with a beautiful light brown wash to hold the stones. A full complement of 180 white and 181 black ceramic stones, single-convex in the traditional Chinese style. Board size: 47cm x 44cm with a 2cm thickness. Bowls size: 15.3cm x 10.2cm. Ceramic stones size: 2cm diameter.
