Technical information
In case of rain
The material of this down jacket is water-repellent. It allows water droplets to roll off the fabric, which delays the penetration of water into the down jacket, giving you time to take shelter. However, the down jacket is not waterproof. We therefore advise you to wear a waterproof jacket over the down jacket in case of prolonged exposure to rain.
The advantages of synthetic wadding filling
Wadding filling offers an interesting alternative to feathers:
- it has good thermal insulation capacity even when wet
- it offers a little breathability and can be recommended for dynamic activities (feathers are recommended for static activities)
- it is easy to maintain: machine washable at 30 C and tumble dried
A valuable tip for better resistance of your down jacket!
Generally speaking, it is not recommended to wash a down jacket too frequently because each wash reduces the thermal properties.

Tests
All our down jackets have been tested in the laboratory on a thermal mannequin in 5 km/h wind, reproducing a hike with moderate effort. This test allows us to indicate the most suitable temperature range to protect you from the cold with this down jacket.
Care instructions
Do not dry clean.
Drying in a rotary tumble dryer possible. Low temperature, maximum temperature of the air exhausted from the drum 60 C.
Do not iron.
Maximum washing temperature 30 C. Normal treatment.
No bleaching.
