Where are our trekking shoes made?
These Trekking shoes are manufactured within the European Union, in Romania, in a factory specialized in the production of trekking shoes.
Advantage of the blocking hook
It effectively allows you to separate the lacing of the lower part and the upper part.
This allows you to adjust the lacing to the shape of your foot and to give your ankle more or less freedom. To lock this first tightening of the lower part, make a first simple knot at the instep or use the blocker on your shoes.
All our trekking shoes offer this possibility of separating the lacing.
The type of route for this shoe
This shoe is designed for rolling trekking routes generally at low altitude and/or on routes on easy marked trails.
The waterproofness level of this shoe
This shoe is validated on the waterproofing test at 10,000 repeatable flexes, or 15 km of walking in water up to mid-upper. This guarantees today a very good level of waterproofing at the level of the shoes.

Increase the waterproofness of your shoe with a gaiter
The waterproofness of a shoe is often compromised by water getting in through the top of the shoe.
--> To keep your feet dry for longer, it is advisable to use a waterproof gaiter or mini-gaiter that will protect the top of the shoe from water ingress, but also from stones and sand.

Choosing your shoe size is a major challenge.
For hiking, do not hesitate to take a size above your usual size to ensure optimal comfort on the descent and to prevent your toes from hitting the stop. Tip: keep your nails short and check before each descent that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding towards the front of the shoe.
5 levels of waterproofing
Our shoes are tested in the laboratory according to 2 tests in a row:
Test 1: We test the effectiveness of the membrane alone immersed in water under air pressure. We simply check the absence of bubbles on the surface as for a punctured inner tube.
Test 2: Thanks to a mechanical arm simulating walking, the complete shoes are half immersed in water and perform thousands of flexes in order to check that the inside of the shoe remains dry and therefore waterproof.
