Ferplast GRO 5989 Professional Thinning Hair Scissors for Dogs and Cats
Achieve a natural, blended finish when grooming your pet with the Ferplast GRO 5989 Thinning Scissors. Designed for controlled coat reduction and texturising, these professional quality grooming shears allow you to thin out dense fur without removing too much length. Ideal for shaping, softening harsh lines, and refining areas that require a lighter touch.
The stainless steel serrated blade works in combination with a straight cutting blade to remove excess bulk while maintaining a natural look. Rounded safety tips provide added protection, making them suitable for delicate areas such as around the face, ears, and paws.
Whether you are maintaining your pet's coat between grooming appointments or performing full home grooming sessions, these scissors offer precision, safety, and control for confident trimming.
Why Choose Thinning Scissors?
Unlike standard scissors that remove large sections of hair, thinning scissors:
Reduce coat thickness without harsh cut lines
Blend uneven areas after trimming
Create a softer, more natural finish
Help manage thick, heavy or double coats
Perfect for breeds with dense or long coats such as Yorkies, Spaniels, Poodles, Maltese, Shih Tzus and mixed breeds requiring coat shaping.
