The Etchr TPS Signature Series B5 Cold Press Sketchbook has been designed for artists who value premium materials and a versatile painting surface that performs beautifully across a wide range of techniques. Created in collaboration with Singaporean artist and educator Erwin Lian, this professional sketchbook reflects a shared commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and the creative process. It contains 44 pages of 300gsm, acid-free, archival-quality, 100% cotton Fabriano Artistico cold press paper, offering the perfect balance of texture and absorbency for watercolour, gouache, ink, and mixed media. Each page is finished with elegant hand-torn deckled edges that add a handcrafted character to every piece of artwork, while the reinforced case-bound construction and premium faux-leather PU cover provide lasting durability. The lay-flat binding ensures a comfortable, uninterrupted painting experience from the first page to the last.
The cold press surface provides just the right amount of texture to hold pigment while allowing colours to flow naturally, making it ideal for expressive brushwork, layered washes, glazing, and lifting techniques. The premium cotton fibres stand up to repeated applications of water without buckling or deteriorating, helping colours remain vibrant and luminous over time. With 22 sheets that can be painted on both sides, artists have generous creative space for sketches, finished paintings, and mixed media projects. The practical B5 portrait format offers an excellent balance between portability and workspace, making it equally suited to studio practice, travel, and plein air painting. Combining world-renowned Fabriano Artistico paper with Etchr's meticulous construction, the TPS Signature Series B5 Cold Press Sketchbook delivers a professional-quality surface that artists can rely on for every stage of their creative journey.
