Over the course of a decade, Metallica's James Hetfield and Ernie Ball worked tirelessly to develop the perfect set of strings, ones that could withstand set after set of James's iconic down-picking heft. Enter Papa Het's Hardwired Master Cores. Based on a customized set of thick Paradigm Core wire, these strings, even at the fingers of our heaviest-hitting riff masters, retain clarity and stay true to pitch. Featuring plasma-enhanced nickel-plated steel wrap along with Ernie Ball's Everlast nanotreatment, these strings are designed to resist dirt and debris buildup from rigorous shred sessions, significantly extending your strings' life. Moreover, brass-reinforced ball-end wrap enhances overall tuning stability. Not for the faint of heart, these strings are thicker, clearer, and more durable than your standard set - so outfit your favorite rhythm machine, warm up your picking hand, and unleash some "Fuel" with Papa Het's Hardwired Master Core signature strings from Ernie Ball!
