EMRIN High-Speed PETG is engineered for effortless high-speed printing, delivering the toughness and durability of PETG with the same ease of use you'd expect from PLA, even at speeds of up to 500mm/s.
Why PETG instead of PLA or ABS?
PETG combines the strength of ABS with the ease of printing of PLA. It offers excellent chemical resistance, flexibility, and impact strength while remaining easy to print with minimal warping. Perfect for functional parts, prototypes, and everyday prints that demand both durability and detail.
Moisture resistance: PETG absorbs less moisture than PLA, so it's less prone to brittleness and print issues.
Chemical resistance: PETG stands up well to water, alcohol, and many household chemicals, making it suitable for functional applications.
Flexibility vs PLA: PETG is less brittle, which means it can bend slightly under stress without snapping.
Odour-free printing: Unlike ABS, PETG has minimal odour, making it user-friendly for home and office printing.
UV resistance (if applicable): PETG filaments are more UV-stable than PLA, and more suitable for outdoor use.
Print at lightning speeds: Optimized for smooth extrusion at up to 500mm/s without compromising detail.
Tough and durable: Stronger than PLA, perfect for mechanical and end-use parts with high impact resistance.
Professional-grade finish: Ultra-smooth surfaces, excellent clarity, and gloss for flawless results.
Higher heat resistance: Withstands warmer conditions where PLA would fail.
Reliable adhesion: Strong first-layer grip prevents warping and ensures dimensional accuracy.
Stronger layer bonding: Exceptional interlayer adhesion delivers robust, long-lasting parts.
Easy printing: Low stringing and oozing, even at high speeds, for a consistently smooth experience.
EMRIN have also made a conscious effort to consider the environmental impact of our packaging. With 3D printing growing more popular, it is becoming another contributor to plastic pollution. Filament packaging is often overlooked in its design. That's why EMRIN have switched to a stunning fibre-board reel that can be broken down, reused, or even used as firewood, avoiding the waste of traditional plastic spools. We've also chosen to go box-less-less cardboard means fewer trees cut down.
Whether you are looking for speed, strength, or sustainability, EMRIN High-Speed PETG delivers on all fronts. Push the limits of your 3D printer and print faster, stronger, and smarter with EMRIN.
Suggested Print Settings: (Each printer likes its own settings, so please adjust to suit your style!)
Nozzle Temperature: 230-250 C (start at 240 C for best layer bonding)
Bed Temperature: 70-85 C (start at 80 C to reduce warping)
Print Speed: Up to 500 mm/s (200-350 mm/s recommended for most printers; tune for quality vs speed)
Cooling Fan: 30-50% (too much cooling can reduce layer adhesion)
Bed Surface: PEI sheet, glass with glue stick, or textured build plate for strong adhesion
Drying Recommendation: Store in a dry box; if exposed, dry at 65 C for 4-6 hours to avoid moisture issues
