Freshening the toilet is a no-brainer. Fresh Strips make it easy. Just stick the strip on to the inside part of the toilet rim once it's clean-right where the water comes out. It's like an adhesive bandage for toilets. But without the pain when you rip it off. (And not with any kind of healing powers. Expect a toilet freshener, not a toilet freshener with healing powers.) And, of course, it has a great scent. (But not a magically healing kind of great scent, just a normal amazingly fresh kind of great scent.)
