Whiskers Wooden Cat Doorstop by YLT - A Hand-Carved Feline With Genuine Personality (and a Real Job to Do).
The best décor accents are the ones that earn their place by being beautiful and useful in equal measure.
The YLT Whiskers Wooden Doorstop is one of them. Hand-carved from solid wood into a playfully sculpted lounging cat, with a smooth tapered wedge extending behind it, this little piece doubles as a charming character accent and a properly functional doorstop.
Tucked into the corner of a room it reads as a small sculptural ornament; slid under a door it holds it firmly open.
Either way, it brings warmth, personality and a touch of artisan whimsy into the room - perfect for cat lovers, animal lovers, boutique lodges, reading nooks, designer homes and anyone who'd rather their everyday objects had a bit of soul to them.
Why You'll Love It:
- Hand-Carved Solid Wood Construction - Each cat is individually shaped, carved and detailed by hand from solid wood, giving every piece its own subtle expression and grain - no two are ever identical.
- Genuinely Dual-Purpose - Looks like a small wooden sculpture on the floor or shelf; works like a proper doorstop the moment you slide the wedge under a door. Form and function, both done well.
- Charming Sculpted Cat Design - The lounging feline pose, perked ears and carved paw detail give the piece real character - far more personality than the standard rubber wedge or chrome doorstop.
- Sturdy Wedge Base - The solid wood wedge body gives the piece the weight and angle needed to actually hold a door open against a gentle breeze or normal household traffic - it's a working accessory, not just an ornament.
- Warm Natural Wood Finish - The rich walnut wood tones complement coastal, organic modern, rustic, farmhouse, safari lodge and contemporary natural interiors with ease, and pair effortlessly with linen, rattan, stone and ceramic textures.
- Versatile Across the Home - Equally at home in a living room, bedroom, study, reading nook, child's room, kitchen pantry, bathroom door or office - endlessly relocatable as your needs change.
- Perfect Gift for Cat Lovers - Substantial enough to feel like a real gift, characterful enough to be remembered - an ideal housewarming, birthday, secret-santa or animal-lover present that's actually useful too.
- Compact & Easy to Place - At just 15cm long, it slips neatly behind a door, under a chair or onto a shelf without taking up surface space - small enough to be subtle, characterful enough to be noticed.
- Lodge & Boutique Hotel Friendly - Adds a touch of warmth and crafted character to guest rooms, restaurant doorways and boutique reception areas without ever feeling out of place.
- Ready to Use - Arrives fully carved and ready to use - no assembly, fixings or fiddly setup required.
